Environmental Health & Safety
The STLCOP Office of Environmental Health & Safety is committed to providing a safe and healthful educational and employment environment for its entire community through collaboration, support and best practice integration into the campus culture.
The functions of EHS include providing leadership and guidance in:
- Fire safety
- Life safety
- General workplace safety
- Industrial hygiene
- Biological, chemical and radiation safety
- Hazardous materials handling, removal and disposal
- Regulatory compliance
This is accomplished through comprehensive training and outreach programs, multidisciplinary inspections, and friendly, professional insight.
