Isaac Butler, Pharm.D., MBA, vice president for diversity and inclusion at St. Louis College of Pharmacy, has been recognized by the St. Louis Business Journal as one of its Diverse Business Leaders honorees for 2019. For more than a decade, the publication has sponsored the Diverse Business Leaders awards program to honor individuals who promote diversity around race, sexual orientation and disability in the St. Louis community.
As one of 20 individuals being recognized as part of the 2019 class of honorees, Butler is being honored for his many efforts to build and cultivate a robust diversity and inclusion program at the College, while also making important strides in the community to improve the health and well-being of people and organizations across the St. Louis region.
“It’s truly an honor to be recognized alongside such an incredible group of diversity leaders in our region,” said Butler. “My passion for helping people embrace and maximize who they are in all aspects of life runs deep, and I work hard to champion diversity in every aspect of my career, whether I’m on campus, volunteering in the community or educating individuals through my work as a speaker and consultant. It’s incredible to know that my work is making an impact.”
Butler’s accomplishments will be featured in the St. Louis Business Journal on Sept. 13. The same day, Butler will be formally recognized at an awards luncheon at the Marriott St. Louis Grand Hotel in downtown St. Louis.
