STLCOP Welcomes Freshmen During Move-In Day 2015

Published on 19 August 2015

Tears from parents, cheers from siblings and the look of excitement in new students’ eyes tell the story of Move-in Day at St. Louis College of Pharmacy.

On Wednesday, Aug. 12, with some help from the STLCOP move-in crew, incoming students and their families unloaded their belongings into Residence Hall. Nearly 230 students moved into Residence Hall, which is divided between double-occupancy rooms and apartment-like suites with private bedrooms, semi-private bathrooms, study lounges, laundry facilities, and kitchenettes.

For the first time, students and parents were given tours of the new Academic and Research Building (ARB) as part of the Move-In Day festivities. The Class of 2022 continued the day by unpacking and getting adjusted to campus. Rounding out the fun-filled day, students enjoyed making new friends at the annual Move-In Day BBQ.
