Founders Day

A celebration of our rich history and bright future.

Founders Day Celebration

Founders Day CelebrationOn November 11, 1864, at 7:30 p.m., St. Louis College of Pharmacy was founded in the hall of the St. Louis Medical College.

Eugene Massot, an apothecary originally from Kentucky, along with four other medical colleagues, drafted a charter, constitution, and bylaws, and since that day, the College has been educating pharmacy and health care leaders and innovators who are impacting society locally, nationally and globally.

More than 150 years later, the College community celebrates Founders Day to reflect on all those who have contributed to our legacy. During Founders Day activities, we recognize those who came before and paved the way for the success of the College and its students.
