Began teaching at STLCOP in 1990.
Previously served as Executive Director of Virginia Pharmaceutical Association and Executive Director of the Kansas Pharmacists Association.
Authored or coauthored 32 books and manuals, chapters in eight other textbooks as well as numerous journal articles. Given hundreds of presentations nationally and internationally.

Recipient of the Bowl of Hygeia Award by Missouri Pharmacy Association
Twice named as STLCOP Educator of the Year and two-time recipient of the Emerson Excellence in Teaching Award.
Manages the Office of International Programs that facilitated over 350 student international service and learning experience in 23 countries since 2013 and established seven partnerships with other colleges and health institutions in China, Ethiopia, India, Ireland, Mexico, Saudi Arabia and South Africa.
