Service and Outreach
Making a difference is one of the most satisfying aspects of a career in health care. At St. Louis College of Pharmacy, giving back to the community has been a part of our DNA since our founding – it is a part of our culture, our curriculum and our student experience.
Throughout the year, our community comes together to participate in service and outreach activities.
- During STLCOP C.A.R.E.S., nearly 800 students, staff and faculty volunteer at community service sites across the St. Louis area as part of the College’s Founders Day Celebration.
- Other initiatives include Outreach and Advocacy Day, Legislative Day, educational summer programs, medication disposal events and community outreach at local institutions like the Saint Louis Science Center.
In addition to gaining educational benefits through service, our students enjoy connecting with local causes and nonprofit organizations that are important to them. Fraternities incorporate philanthropy projects into their programming and Pay It Forward is a student organization dedicated to helping others.
