Professional (P1) Admission
We are excited to welcome you into the professional program. These next steps will help guide you through the professional admission process and prepare you for success at the College.
Accepted Student Next Steps
Now that you've been accepted as a professional student, there are a few things you can take care of right now:
- Submit Your Final Transcripts
Contact your previous school(s) to request to have your official transcripts sent to the College. Mail all documents to the Office of Admissions at 4588 Parkview Place, St. Louis, MO 63110.
- Apply for Housing (optional)
South Residence Hall offers flexible, apartment-style living for professional students who want the convenience of living on campus. Housing applications are available online. Living on campus is optional for professional students. For additional questions, contact Maryam Ouechani, coordinator of residence life at email@example.com or 314.446.8164.
- Apply for Parking
Parking applications will be reviewed after your enrollment deposit is received, on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking assignments are subject to availability, so it is best to apply early. Learn more about parking.
- Activate Your New Student Portal Account
To activate your New Student Portal account, log in using the personal email address that you used to apply to the College. Once you are logged in, set up your profile, share your goals and add a photo of yourself.
- Attend Orientation
While you may have already visited campus, New Student Orientation is your first introduction to the College as a student. During orientation, you'll meet your classmates, interact with faculty and staff and learn more about the College.
- Activate Your College Email Account
Email is the College’s primary communication channel and will be used to communicate dates and information so it is important to check your email on a regular basis. To activate your account, review the instructions.
- Complete your drug screening through Validity Screening Solutions
You will receive an email from Validity Screening Solutions with instructions on how to complete your drug screening. This screening is required in order to enter the professional program at the College.
- Purchase Your Laptop
All students are required to purchase a laptop computer through the Student Laptop Program. Place your laptop order online at techstore.stlcop.edu.
- Submit Your Health Record and Emergency Contact Form
Once you activate your College email account, complete your Emergency Contact Form and upload a scanned copy of your immunization record signed by a licensed health care professional to the Student Health Record Form prior to the first day of classes.
- Ensure You Have Your Required Immunizations
Immunization Requirements for Incoming Students:
(must provide copies of documentation for the following)
- Measles, Mumps and Rubella immunizations (2-shot series) or titers
- Tetanus vaccine (within the past 10 years)
- Varicella immunization (2-shot series) or titers (history of chicken pox is NOT sufficient)
- Hepatitis B immunizations (3-shot series)
- Influenza vaccination (yearly every fall)
- PPD / TB test (must provide copy of documentation of results)
