Board of Trustees

The members of the Board of Trustees constitute the governing body of the College. The Board is composed of leaders across health care, pharmacy and industry who bring diverse experiences and expertise to the College. At any point, the Board includes no more than 20 members, none of whom is a member of the faculty or employed by the College.

Among the board’s major responsibilities are the finances of the College and approval of the annual budget, implementing policies of the College, and the hiring and support of the College’s president.

The president is the chief executive and educational officer of the College. President John A. Pieper, Pharm.D., FAPhA, FCCP, reports to the Board and supervises all educational and administrative affairs. He also oversees a cabinet of academic and administrative representatives, the President’s Staff, which includes the deans and vice presidents.

President’s Staff

The President’s Staff includes the deans, vice presidents and administrators overseeing the schools and academic departments, as well as the administrative units of the College. They supervise faculty and staff, provide counsel to the president on strategic matters and oversee day-to-day operations.
