While studying archival material from the history of the College for our 150th anniversary, Bob Zebroski, chair of the Department of Liberal Arts and professor of history, uncovered text to a class song from 1921.
Tristan Frampton, the director of the College’s Royal Chorale, set these newly resurfaced lyrics to music in honor of our 150th anniversary. His vision for the composition was one of a traditional, reverent, hymn-like setting typical of most music in this genre, while incorporating some creativity with the harmony.
The result is an Alma Mater that inspires nostalgic memories and fosters camaraderie and loyalty to our prestigious institution.
