St. Louis College of Pharmacy
Cartwright Student Center
The safe use and distribution of pharmaceuticals in the United States is a critical issue for patients and health care professionals. Statistics indicate that any given week, four out of five U.S. adults use prescription medications, over-the-counter drugs, or dietary supplements; many take multiple medications each day. In recognizing that safety is a health care concern, noted experts will visit St. Louis College of Pharmacy to examine issues related to the elimination of errors and reduction of adverse drug reactions at the Medication Safety Forum. Participating pharmacists will receive a maximum of 3.25 contact hours of knowledge-based CE credit. The event is free and open to the public, but reservations are required. To R.S.V.p., please call 314.446.8399 or e-mail medicationsafety@stlcop.edu.
