St. Louis College of Pharmacy is an educational experience like none other. The College's resources and facilities are similar to a major university, but are combined with the small class size and faculty attention reminiscent of a liberal arts college. Unlike most pharmacy schools, STLCOP does not have a pre-pharmacy program; students are automatically admitted into the six-year Doctor of Pharmacy program beginning in Year 3, if they have successfully met the progression requirements.
Location
Situated in the heart of St. Louis' Central West End medical community, the campus location adds even more to the STLCOP experience. The Central West End is known for its trendy shops, restaurants, and nightlife, and is only minutes away from downtown St. Louis attractions.
In addition, Forest Park, a 1,371-acre urban park, is located just two blocks from campus. The park offers trails, courts, golf courses, and free museums, and is host to many outdoor plays, concerts, and festivals. A welcoming community of friendly and supportive people, outstanding professional opportunities, and a wide range of activities awaits students at STLCOP.
Students
STLCOP students are far from typical. They are inquisitive, interested in health and wellness, love math and science, and enjoy helping people. They are caregivers, critical thinkers, active leaders, focused and gifted, with an average ACT score of 27.
If these characteristics match your interests and personality, the College encourages you to visit our campus. You can arrange a visit on the Campus Tour page or by calling an admission representative at 314.446.8328. If you decide that STLCOP is for you, we welcome you to apply to our six-year professional pharmacy program, which will award you with a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree and endless opportunities to serve others and your community.
Prospective students can call the Admissions Office with any questions or to request additional information. Admissions representatives can be reached at 314.446.8328 or toll free at 1.800.2.STLCOP, or by e-mail at admissions@stlcop.edu.
ATTENTION FALL 2013 PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS: You may have recently received a letter from our admissions office introducing the ACT and SAT writing tests as requirements for admission. The information in that letter was incorrect. Applicants for admission to the freshman class of 2013 do NOT have to complete the writing portion of the ACT or SAT. We sincerely apologize for any confusion or inconvenience caused by the initial letter. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our admissions office at 314.446.8334 or admissions@stlcop.edu.
