Congratulations on choosing a degree and career in pharmacy. Space in the first-year class is limited and acceptance is highly competitive. Each year the College receives around 600 applications for 250 places in the first-year class. To determine your chance for success at STLCOP, the Admissions Office carefully considers several factors. Admission requirements for prospective students include:

  • 3 years of high school science, including biology/lab and chemistry/lab
  • 4 years of high school math, including algebra I & II and geometry
  • 4 years of high school English
  • High school GPA of at least 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale)
  • Rank in the upper 50% of the graduating class
  • Minimum ACT composite score of 23 and/or SAT combined score of 1110 (minimum ACT math sub score of 24; minimum sub score of 21 for English, science and reading)
  • Recommended but not required: 1 unit of physics, additional units in subjects listed above or other math and science courses.

It is important to follow the admission instructions and deadlines carefully to ensure your application is given careful consideration. To help you stay organized during the application process, please follow the checklist below.
