Assisting Your Student with ApplyingApplying for college can seem daunting for even the best students. In a competitive environment, the key is organization and timely submission of all admissions materials. St. Louis College of Pharmacy requires a number of documents, which help us determine which applicants will best meet the rigors and rewards of our seven-year Pharm.D. program. Careful selection benefits everyone and helps ensure all students are successful in their pursuit of a career in pharmacy. We encourage parents to assist their son or daughter with the admission process.
- The St. Louis College of Pharmacy welcomes about 250 first-year students every fall. They are chosen from more than 600 applicants. Admission to STLCOP is based on several factors, so please ensure your son or daughter has the best chance possible for a successful application by reviewing our Admission Requirements.
- Step-by-step instructions, a list of necessary documents, and links to online forms are available at How to Apply. A detailed outline of the application process will guide you through the steps needed to ensure a complete application file is created and submitted.
- Timely application is crucial. Because of the high volume of applications we receive, late applications cannot be considered. Students may opt for Regular Decision or Early Decision, a special application process for students who are sure that St. Louis College of Pharmacy is their first choice for study after high school and are prepared to commit to STLCOP, putting aside any other college applications. Important dates and deadlines for Regular Decision and Early Decision applications are available at Admission Dates & Deadlines.
Another Important Application Process
Applying for admission is the first step. Once your son or daughter receives word of his or her acceptance, there’s another important application process for parents and students to complete: applying for financial aid. An overview of the various types of financial aid and details on applying is available at How to Apply for Financial Aid.
