St. Louis College of Pharmacy Selects Presidential Search Firm
and Announces Search Committee Members

ST. LOUIS – Bret Kimes, chairman of the Board of Trustees at St. Louis College of Pharmacy, announced today that a presidential search firm and search committee members have been selected as the College seeks to replace outgoing President Thomas F. Patton.

Patton announced on Feb. 13 that he will step down, effective June 30, 2010. He has served as president since 1994, one of the longest tenures among local college and university presidents.

The College has retained Parker Executive Search. The company conducts executive searches globally for corporations, colleges and universities and collegiate athletics. The Parker Executive Search team has successfully completed more than 1,000 searches and its consultants have more than 50 years combined experience. The company was selected from a pool of five executive search firms.

Correspondence regarding the search should be sent to: Daniel F. Parker, Sr., President, Parker Executive Search, Attn: St. Louis College of Pharmacy Presidential Search, Five Concourse Parkway, Suite 2440, Atlanta, GA 30328 or dparker@parkersearch.com.

The College’s search committee is comprised of 13 members – including a St. Louis higher-education leader, a former administrator at the College, four current and four former members of the College’s Board of Trustees, two faculty members and one student leader.
