College Welcomes 11 New Faculty Members

St. Louis College of Pharmacy Welcomes 11 New Faculty Members

ST. LOUIS – St. Louis College of Pharmacy (STLCOP) has added 11 new faculty members for upcoming school year, which begins Aug. 26. The majority of the new teachers will work in the College’s pharmacy practice division – sharing with students knowledge about illnesses, prescription drugs, patient drug usage, and medication safety.

The nine new assistant professors of pharmacy practice are:

  • Kacie Ballantini, Pharm.D., a STLCOP graduate (internal medicine).
  • Leigh Boehmer, Pharm.D., a graduate of the University of Iowa (oncology).
  • Christy Burrows, Pharm.D., a STLCOP graduate (internal medicine).
  • Kristin Campbell, Pharm.D., a graduate of the University of Kansas (ambulatory care).
  • Andrew Crannage, Pharm.D., a STLCOP graduate, will focus on (general medicine).
  • Jamie Pitlick, Pharm.D., a graduate of Drake University (ambulatory care).
  • Matthew Pitlick, Pharm.D., a graduate of Drake University (ambulatory care).
  • Lindsey Pritchard, Pharm.D., a University of Nebraska graduate (ambulatory care).
  • Lauren Roberts, Pharm.D., a STLCOP graduate (geriatrics). 

The two other new faculty members will work in the College’s basic and pharmaceutical sciences division. They are:

  • Allison Kleiber, who earned her doctorate from the University of Nebraska (physiology).
  • Noha Salama, who received her doctorate from the University of Maryland (pharmaceutics).

About St. Louis College of Pharmacy: Founded in 1864, St. Louis College of Pharmacy is one of the oldest and largest colleges of pharmacy in America. The College admits students directly from high school and integrates the liberal arts and sciences with a six-year professional curriculum leading to the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree. Approximately 1,200 students attend, and more than 72 percent of practicing pharmacists in the St. Louis metropolitan area are alumni.
