St. Louis College of Pharmacy David Baker named All-American
Banner to be presented in his honor

ST. LOUIS – For the second time in his career, David Baker is being honored as an NAIA All-American. The fifth-year student is the only student-athlete in the history of St. Louis College of Pharmacy athletics to earn the honor.

David recently ran a 4:08.35 mile at the NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championships. He’s also qualified to run in the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, which will be held at Indiana Wesleyan University beginning May 24. His next challenge will be this weekend at the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (KIAC) meet in Berea, Kentucky.

"He's probably one of the most modest athletes I’ve ever encountered, particularly given his enormous talent," says Athletic Director Jill Harter, "he’s really quiet and focused as he goes about his training and performances." In his career at St. Louis College of Pharmacy, Baker has earned All-Conference status three times in cross country and qualified for the national championship all three years.

David is originally from Chamois, Mo.
