Vita Highlights

Was part of the National Honor Society in High School as well as part of the Student Council Leadership team. Received an athletic scholarship to play Division I College Soccer at Eastern Illinois University. Played for two years before transferring to SEMO to study Business Administration and Education. After graduation, I was employed by Target Stores Inc. for 5 years as an assistant store manager. Was honored to be a loaned executive to raise money for United Way for two years. Taught at St. John's High School for 6 years and worked part-time for a non-profit organization assisting physically/handicapped adults. Also served on the Board of Directors for the Waymakers Organization. Moved on to teach at CBC High School. Was chosen to initiate the first men's soccer program at Fontbonne University. Won a National Championship with Fontbonne and was named Coach of the Year. I was then hired to take over the men's soccer program at Webster University. Also coached the men's tennis team and also finished my first masters degree at Webster University. Graduated with honors. Was selected to start the first Junior Varsity soccer program for CBC High School and also was selected to start the first boys volleyball team at CBC. I was the moderator for the student council at CBC for 18 years before becoming the Director of Student Activities. I am fortunate to be the first men's soccer coach at St. Louis College of Pharmacy and hope to build a positive program at the college.

About

I have been married to my wonderful wife, Mary Beth for the past 23 years. I have two outstanding sons, Tim and Tom. I have been fortunate to have a wonderful family and supportive parents. I was privileged to have a private education in elementary and high school before moving on to college. I believe my background was shaped by the many coaches, teachers and role models that I have been associated through my formative years. Needless to say, my Father, Eddie Jamieson, was the best role model a child could ever have wished for in his life. He taught me more than I could ever have imagined. I know to this day, I am a reflection of my Dad and I only hope that I can be half the man he was in his lifetime.

I love all sorts of athletics, music, movies, teaching and student activities. I try to make a difference in everything I do and be a positive role model for the people in my life. I have been blessed to teach and consider it my vocation and calling. Teaching goes beyond the classroom and I only hope that I give back as much as I have received throughout the years. I believe it's not only important to do the right things but to do things right.
