The Eutectics suffered a 5-0 loss in the first round of the NAIA Regional Tournament on Friday, April 24, at Kossover Tennis Center in Topeka, Kan. The Euts entered the tournament with a 1-12 record, seeded 8th of eight teams, so drew the number-one seed Graceland University of Lamoni, Iowa, in the first round. Graceland came into the tournament with a 9-3 record, and became the eventual tournament champion to earn the bid to the national tournament.

The first-round loss at the tournament effectively ended the Eutectic’s season. They finished the season with a 1-13 record. With no seniors graduating, the team hopes to build on its experience for next year.
