A guided castle tour showcases a collection of furniture from the Gothic and Renaissance periods as well some fine reproduction pieces. After the guided tour you are invited to enjoy a wine-tasting session in the city. Having sampled some of the local wine specialties, you return to the vessel.

Trier City Walk
Visiting the oldest town in Germany you see the Roman fortified gate ‘PortaNigra,’ the early Gothic Epiphany House, the city center with one of the most beautiful historic market squares in Germany with the Romanesque cathedral and the Church of Our Lady, Kesselstatt Palais, and Elector Palantinate Palais. The last stop of the excursion is one of the numerous wine cellars where, after a guided tour, you can taste some sparkling white wine.

Koblenz, Germany, City Tour and Fortress Ehrenbreitstein

During the tour of the city you will see the fortress Ehrenbreitstein, which offers a magnificent view of Koblenz and is the place where the Rhine and Moselle rivers merge. Afterwards, you will visit the old city with the St. Castor church, a Roman Basilica and the oldest church in town. Additionally, you will pass the ‘Church of Our Lady’, which is located on Roman foundations at the old town’s highest elevation. Behind the church you can find the 17th-century town hall and the little statue called the ‘Schangelbrunnen’ (literally ‘scallywag fountain’), a boy who spouts water every three minutes at unwary pedestrians.

Cologne City Walk with Cathedral
This old cathedral city on the Rhine is one of western Germany’s most important trade centers and a major rail and road junction. During a guided walk you will discover the historical sights of this metropolis on the Rhine. You will see the ‘Praetorium’, which was the seat and administrative center of Roman prefects. Its foundation can be visited today underneath the city hall. The highlight of the tour is a visit of the cathedral, a masterpiece of Early Gothic architecture, and supported by 56 columns. The ‘Three Kings Shrine’, a masterpiece of local goldsmiths’ craft is located high above the altar. After the tour, you will have the opportunity for a brief stroll through the city center on your own.

Amsterdam, Netherlands, City Tour, Museum and Canal Boat Tour
During this tour through the city center, you will see the ‘Dam’, the Royal Palace, the numerous canals, the ‘Magre Brug’ – the most photographed bridge of Amsterdam – and the museum quarters. You will visit a collection of historic paintings in one of the most important Dutch galleries. You will then gain an impression of Amsterdam during a picturesque canal cruise looking at the city from the water.
