Chris White
Hometown:
New Madrid, Missouri; New Madrid County Central High School

At school I live in the Bevo Mill area, which is very nice and very ethnic. I lived in the dorms for my first two years and loved it.

My best friends would describe me as outgoing, easy to get along with, and reliable.

I chose pharmacy because I was interested in the medical field. I was thinking of becoming an MD, but I thought this field would have a greater impact on patients.

I chose STLCOP because it is close to home and one of the top schools in the country.

What area of pharmacy are you interested in?  I am interested in long-term care facilities, like nursing homes and extended-care facilities.

My career goals include becoming the best pharmacist I can. If I strive for that, it should not be hard to achieve my career goals.

My favorite thing to do in St. Louis is to go to Rigazzi's restaurant on The Hill with my friends.

What activities are you involved with on campus? Campus Activities Board (CAB) and Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity(LXA).

My favorite classes at STLCOP were Therapeutics I, II, III, and IV because they are the cornerstone of the pharmacy profession.

The best thing about being a student at STLCOP is that it was an easy transition from my high school because of the small size.

My favorite restaurant in St. Louis is SLeeK in Lumiere Place Casino.

My favorite place to study is in any quiet library.

My favorite College events are Homecoming week and the LXA Watermelon Bash.

My favorite way to spend a weekend while at school is playing golf or just relaxing.

I spend my leisure time trying to play golf.

A song that best describes my life: "Born Country" by Alabama

Famous person I would like to meet: Tiger Woods.

My favorite TV shows are "Heroes," "House," and "Nip/Tuck."

My favorite holiday is Christmas because it is the celebration of the birth of Jesus and because of the time spent with family and friends.

My most memorable experience at STLCOP is when I joined a fraternity.  It truly changed my life for forever.
