St. Louis College of Pharmacy is an educational experience like none other. The College's health care resources and lab facilities are combined with the small class size and faculty attention reminiscent of a liberal arts college. The campus' location adds even more to the experience with its location in St. Louis' trendy Central West End, which is only minutes away from downtown St. Louis and its attractions. StLCoP students are far from typical. They are inquisitive, interested in health and wellness, love math and science, enjoy helping people. They also are caregivers, critical thinkers, active leaders, focused and gifted, with an average ACT score of 28.
If these characteristics match your interests and personality, the College encourages you to apply to our six-year pharmacy program, which will award you with a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree and endless opportunities to serve others and your community. Unlike many other pharmacy schools, StLCoP does not have a pre-pharmacy program; students are automatically admitted into the professional program beginning in Year 3, if they have successfully met the progression requirements.
If you are considering applying to the College, please keep in mind:
- Admission into the College is very competitive, with three qualified applicants per available space. Applying through the early decision process is encouraged.
- A campus visit is recommended so students can get a feel of campus life and classes.
- The College strongly discourages students from planning to enter the program as transfers. Openings for transfers into the third year are dependent on how many students, who entered as freshmen, leave the program before the third year.
