Biography
 F. CHAD SHEPHERD, B.S.Vice President Information TechnologyChief Information Officer cshepherd@stlcop.edu 314.446.8402 F. Chad Shepherd has overall responsibility for administrative and academic computing functions, media services, telephone, and mail services. During his tenure with the College, Mr. Shepherd has overseen a complete refresh of the campus technology infrastructure including the network infrastructure, classroom technologies, telecommunications systems, security electronics, and public web site. Mr. Shepherd directed the implementation of a student notebook program where every incoming student receives a college owned notebook. This notebook program has garnered national attention for its early adoption of high speed wireless and tablet based computing technologies. Mr. Shepherd brings over 16 years of technology and management experience to the college and holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Technology from Central Missouri State University. Mr. Shepherd serves on the Missouri Education and Research Consortium board of Directors. Before joining the College, Mr. Shepherd managed several departments at Enterprise rent-a-car and had the distinction of creating a new thirty-five-person 2nd level support department that dramatically improved help desk responsiveness and customer service. Previous to Enterprise, Mr. Shepherd was the Director of Computing Services at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and Manager of Systems Operations (MIS Manager) at Data Systems International. In both positions, he held the senior technology management position of the company and directed all functions of Information Technology.
