St. Louis consists of 16 counties, which are collectively home to more than
2.8 million people. Each county boasts several recreational and cultural assets
including museums, professional and minor league sports’ teams, parks, trails, prominent businesses, historical sites, recreation complexes, animal sanctuaries, a variety of restaurants, and theaters. The ease of getting around via major highways and a metro bus and train system, allows St. Louis residents to regularly take advantage of the sightseeing and learning opportunities. In fact, the RCGA reports that attendance at St. Louis Cardinals baseball games and the Saint Louis Art Museum is among the highest per capita in the country.
STLCOP's campus is located within the city of St. Louis in the Central West End neighborhood. Along with a nationally recognized medical complex, the neighborhood is full of trendy and unique shops and restaurants and right next to the 1.300-acre Forest Park.
